First Violin Recital

Alicyn had her first violin recital this weekend. She did a wonderful job. The violin is a hard instrument to learn to play.
Ali has been practicing really hard but, one day she will sound great, and the next day she will be a little squeaky or not quite on note.

She did such a great job at the recital, and actually brought tears to my eyes because of the hard work and success.

She played right with the piano and did her very best. WAY TO GO ALICYN, Keep up the good work and practice, practice, practice.

Announcing herself and Playing for us.

Kayleen & Alicyn

She always tells Kayleen (her teacher) that she wants to fiddle....well she needs to get the basics down first. Fiddling will come later, and I can't wait!

LOL

Thank you to everyone that came and supported Alicyn. She was so happy you were there to share her day. She is looking forward to practicing and learning new songs for the next recital.

Ali - Dad and I are really proud of you!

Awwww! Ali is soooo cute! What a little musician. Learning music at such an early age will help her be better at math as she gets older, so excellent choice signing her up. She is absolutely adorable. I wish I could have been there to cheer for her at her recital.

btw, sorry I missed your call the other day. I've been meaning to call you back, but this move and house update has just been insane. Its all about to come to a cozy end though, and I can't wait to be able to just relax in our newly updated home!

I love you, Ali, and Zach loads!

Chelle, We miss you! I know it isn't like we saw you all the time but it was a lot better knowing that you were just a county away, rather than states away. Ali asks about you weekly. Please know that we think about you often!

Ali I'm proud of you too! I'm sorry that we couldn't be there. You'll have to give us another private concert!
