AND A HAPPY GRANDMA!

8 WEEKS EARLY!

OUR COUSIN CHRISTINA HAD HER TRIPLETS TODAY THE 16TH OF APRIL. ALICYN WILL BE SO EXCITED WHEN SHE FINDS OUT THEY WERE BORN ON THE 16TH JUST LIKE HER AND ZACH.
I DON'T KNOW ALL THE DETAILS YET, I WILL HAVE TO POST THOSE LATER.

The smallest baby was 3 pounds and the largest baby is 3 lbs 12 ounces not sure of the middle bug.

We are so happy they are here, healthy and breathing on their own. Christina had a really rough time the last few weeks.

Sweet's Candy Company

Zachary had a very fun field trip to the Sweet's Candy Factory. It was very interesting and we had a great time. Zach had fun telling grandma, grandpa and Dad, that when they turn on their faucet chocolate or sugar comes out instead of water. Of course he had to bring them back a treat also from the factory store. We have pictures in our funny hats too.

Babies Update

So our cousin with the triplets was in the hospital for a few days. They gave the babies steroids to try and get their lungs developed faster etc. Last week she started labor and they were able to get that stopped. She is dilated to a 2 and 60% effaced. She needs to make it at least 6 more weeks. In 6 weeks she will be 33 weeks and they were going to deliver the babies at 33 weeks. She was released from the hospital a few days later but is now on strict bed rest. I think it is going to be a long 6 weeks for her. We have loaned some movies to hopefully get her mind off being stuck in bed for so long.

A lot has happened since I posted last. I need to take some time and catch up. Hopefully one of these days soon. I hope everyone is doing well.

Yea Babies!!

I have been meaning to write about our cousin for quite sometime. She is so darling and we love her to death. She and her husband graduated from college at Utah State. They both found jobs in the Salt Lake Valley and moved back home with her mom to save money for a house.

They were trying to start a family and weren't having any success at all. After many doctor visits and sadness they decided to use the down payment for their house to do In Vitro. They implanted two fertilized eggs hoping that one would take.

The amazing thing about this is that when she was young she had a blessing, and after that blessing her bishop told her that three of her children were present.

Well she went back for a check up after the procedure and to her surprise she found out that not only did both work, one had split. So she is having identical twins and a third. GIVES YOU GOOSE BUMPS HUH!

Maybe that is the only way to get her children here.....all at once.

She is having three darling little girls. All is going well and she is due June 14th. We are so excited for her and her husband. Ali and I are hoping they will give us one. ;) (wink wink) As i am sure they will have their hands full.
