Christmas Day

The kids woke up ecstatic because of anticipation of what Santa brought. They know they can't go to the living room until everyone is up and awake so it is usually pile on mom and dad in their bed. As soon as we were finished with the present thing Dave got dressed in his winter garb to go out and start diggin us out. Quite the snow storm!!! It took him atleast an hour so I was happy he was able to get out there and get started so that we could get to grandma's house.
Ali was pretty much awake all night long. I think she slept maybe two hours if that. I would tell a story about that if I knew that she didn't read this blog....however she does so I will have to save that for a hand written journal.
Zach gave Ali twin baby alives.... this was in hopes to help fill her baby hungry problem that she constantly has. She can feed them and change their diaper. We are going to have to make some cloth diapers or something because those little disposables that you can buy at the store for them are pricey. I think Zach's favorite item that he got was a batman, joker figurine and a few Star Wars figures too.

Another Favorite!...The kids also got a Wii which has been great quality family time together and FUN. Zach has this funny hop that he does when he is bowling. It is hilareous. He has a hard time if he is losing and I have noticed that Ali does too. The other day Zach was beating her at a game and she said, we need to turn this off. I hope my kids learn to be better sports. I told them that they need to say great job, now lets play again and see if I can do better. OR something like that.

One of our traditions is to go to Grandma Jeanne's house (Dave's mom) for breakfast. This year breakfast was at 9:00. It is so nice to have breakfast at grandama's house so we don't have to think about food. Just our little contribution of what we are suppose to take to share. We wake up and do our presents and then get ready to leave for the day. We go to Grandma Jeanne's house first then on to my parents house just down the street from Grandma Jeanne's.

We usually don't get home until around 6:00 or 7:00 in the evening. So we have to try and plan for the whole day. I make sure we have everything packed up so we don't have to come back home for something....which sometimes we still have to return.

The cousins watching Colby play one of his Nintendo DS games. They were entertained watching him play for quite some time. He did share, which was nice too. Notice my kids faces, they are holding their mouths the same way. Ha!

Christmas Parties & Family

We had so much fun with family this year at our different parties we had. Ali and Zach loved playing with cousins and doing fun activities.

At one family party Ali hogged the Karaoke machine. She really love that.
