I had the privilege to be the Young Women's Camp Director this year with our church.
In getting ready for camp we decided to go on the hike that I would be taking the girls on so there weren't any surprises and I would know what I was doing when the time came.
We had such a great time as a family. My kids loved it. After we were done, Ali asked if we could go on a hike every weekend. I am glad she enjoyed it so much, and happy that she loves the outdoors and can appreciate the beautiful world that was created for us to enjoy.
I also tried to figure out the settings on my camera. Wish I could remember which each setting was that I used now that I took the same picture with different settings, I don’t know which is which, but I like how some of them turned out.

What a fun-filled summer!!! Your kiddos are sure getting big. Cool effects to those hiking pictures. From the look of those pictures, that hike was sure pretty, hope all went well with the young women when you took them. Fun 4th of July pics as well, I really like the fireworks!
glad you made it up that long hike. we tried it a couple of weeks ago and i think we made it about 1/4 of the way before all of the whining started....so we turned around and headed back home. maybe next time.
I love your photos, they turned out neat. I wish I knew how to do that. Love to see your family and the fun adventures you take. Have a great day.

i love the b/w and color settings you used. if you recall how you did it, let me know!
