Never Work Too Hard - Enjoy Life!

I loved this saying on the wall at the veterinarian's office.

It is so true and I have been working so much the last 2 months. Maybe it wouldn't have hit me so hard if I hadn't been working so much, when I read it. But hey...I did take time off to go on the field trip at least.
:(
I am going to try and make up for it this week. YEEE HAAAWW!! Never to late to spend some quality time.

Draper Temple Open House

So my kids and I and best friend were able to go to the open house of the new Draper Temple on Thursday last week. What a wonderful experience and I cried a lot. I am such a boob lately!

I really wished that my sweetie could have gotten off work like we originally planned when we reserved our tickets, but they decided at work that he needed to replace a sewer main so people in WJ could go potty. This was our second attempt to go together as a family and it just wasn't in the cards. It was great with Joanie though, she is like my sister, and was it very special to have her there with us.

I loved the time I had with my kids and Joanie. What a special special feeling we all got and how beautiful to experience the entire temple every, room all in one day.

I hope that everyone was able to go, only one more week left.

Had my camera and forgot to take it out of my pocket after the tour, but here we are on the bus. Wahoo!

FUN SURPRISE!!

My sister surprised the heck out of me!

We were walking into the Energy Solutions Arena and she kept going in a door to look for our seats. I said, well what does the ticket say? What letter are we, and she would say oh we just need to go over here.

We kept walking and walking down, down. Well little did I know that we were on the floor. What a surprise, I knew we had tickets but she got them so I had no clue we were so close. It was so amazing. AWESOME!!!! concert. We were close enough that we could see her little legs jiggle (skinny thing that girl). We couldn't sit down the whole concert and just loved every second of it.

CAN I JUST SAY....I LOVE CELINE! She did an awesome show. Oh and her opening act, I need to find him and see if I can see him again. He was hilarious. I have never laughed so hard. He made fun of every singer you can think of and sounded just like them. I think his name is Brian and I need to have my sister with the younger mind remember and remind me. After all 46 year old's can't remember that much (you would have to read my face book logs to know about that). Anyway, he was so dang funny! Sounded just like the person he was making fun of. He would sing their song with there voice but change the words.
HE HE, I laugh to myself just thinking about it.

Silly Lexi

Our dog jumps up on the trampoline and watches us through the back door window. The trampoline is the perfect height for her to see into the house. She just lies there hoping we will let her in.

CRACKS ME UP!
When she thinks you are going to let her in....she perks up a little and hopes.

Another thing she is doing....while playing with the kids, she thinks it is really funny to take the socks off their feet and run. We have gone through lots of socks, the kids think it is funny so they don't stop her...and then they get pretty good size holes in them. It is like a game of tag. I would think it was pretty funny myself if I didn't have to keep buying socks.

Field Trip to Pets Mart

We had a fun field trip with Zach's class. They were able to take a tour of the veterinarian's office and see an X-Ray of a mother with a baby in her tummy. They were taken on a tour of the whole store and were able to learn about all different animals.

They have a doggie daycare at the store and there was a St. Bernard in the play area. He was as tall as our Shetland pony, we could have put a saddle on him and done the barrel race.
It made me laugh cause before I snuck home the dog we have, when I would ask Dave what kind of dog he wanted he would always say a St. Bernard. I told him that he would have to clean up the poop.

We had a fun morning together. Ali was able to go because she is off track.
